Tie in State Lotteries with Voting

Author: Lance Winslow

Is there a way to tie in voting to the lottery? How would that work; well as the originator on the idea explains, Mr. Osteloh, there would be a one million dollar prize issued. All that the voter would have to do is after voting they would receive a number and they could take that home and watch the TV set that next day to see if they won the lottery.

With this be enough incentive to give to voters to actually have them show up and vote, as it seems many people are lackadaisical in their voting and perhaps do not understand why this great republic is so great. You see, the United States government is owned by the American people and we are the government, however if you do not vote; then you are not doing your duty as an American to make things better.

In fact, this is the greatest nation ever created in the history of mankind and it is imperative that you participate in this greatest nation. If coaxing you to vote with the potential of winning a $1 million lottery then perhaps this is not such a bad idea. It is something to definitely consider and something that I would recommend.

People need to participate in the government and it is too bad we have to bribe people to go vote, because that means politicians make up crisis after crisis, which do not exist to get everybody hot and bothered to come do something about it, yet it is already their civic duty in first place. Consider all this in 2006
