Loyal Fans of Spring Training

Author: Peter Portero

Baseball still remains the top American sport. This is because of many loyal fans who go to baseball games all the time to support their favorite team. Sports would not have so much influence over clothing, trends, mannerisms, and sayings without fans to keep things going. Most baseball fans become fans when they are children. They watch the games with their parents or friends and it becomes a yearly tradition. This is the same for football, basketball, and hockey. But there is something about being in the stands on a hot afternoon watching a baseball game. These fans stay loyal to the end. If their team has a chance to be in the World Series, they do not miss a single inning.

When Spring training rolls around, many baseball fans head off to Florida or California to watch their team practice. Many teams sponsor fan events and will sign baseballs and let a fan train with them for a day. It is very exciting for a person who has dreamed about pitching in the major leagues to be out there on the mound pitching to their favorite player. It is a fun time for people to hit the road in search of their team. Fans come out to support the team and to check out the newest additions to the roster.

Fans of baseball are loyal even if their team has a bad season. They will return year after year for the excitement of be in the stands, eating stadium food, and cheering as their team scores a home run. Many people have their fondest childhood memories at the ballpark. Baseball to many people means summer, good food, and cheering for their favorite player. Going to a baseball game is relaxing and fun and creates new memories that can last a lifetime.
